Port is Rampart’s second investment since its first acquisition in August 2024
Leading lower middle-market private equity firm Huron Capital (“Huron”) announced that its portfolio company, Rampart Exterior Services (“Rampart,” or the “Company”), has acquired Port Enterprises, Ltd. (“Port”). Port is Rampart’s second acquisition since first partnering with Independent Roofing Systems in August, 2024. The partnership with Port further enhances Rampart’s customer base and geographic footprint.
Port is a commercial roofing services company based in Texas with operations across the Austin, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi markets. Founded in 1963, Port has built a strong reputation for delivering quality re-roofing solutions for education, government, industrial, and other commercial customers. Port continues to be managed locally by the experienced leadership team of Jennifer McCauley, Stephen McCauley, Cody Comstock, and Jake Comstock.
“We are thrilled to partner with Stephen, Jennifer, Cody, Jake, and the entire Port team. Port’s core principles of safety, quality, customer service, and reliability are deeply aligned with our vision and remain at the forefront of our operations as we continue to grow,” said Gabe Mesanza, CEO of Rampart.
“Rampart and Huron were natural fits for us at Port,” said Jennifer McCauley of Port. “We’re confident that this partnership will provide meaningful opportunities for our team to succeed in an environment that values its people.”
“It has been an honor to work with Port, a fourth-generation, family-owned business with deep roots in the growing Texas market. This acquisition adds significant scale to the Rampart platform in a key region, with a like-minded partner who is committed to excellence in the skilled trades,” said Brian Rassel, Partner at Huron Capital.
