Presented in partnership with Love Under the Bridge, this event will feature an outdoor church service and distribution of meals, water, hygiene products, and period products

DALLAS - November 10, 2025 - Promise Hill Project, a non-profit (501c3) organization that provides necessities to struggling and impoverished communities in America, Kenya, and India to empower both children and adults, today announced that it will be holding a community outreach event on Sunday, November 16, from 12 pm-2 pm at 2921 Dawson Street in Dallas. Presented in partnership with Love Under the Bridge, the event will feature an outdoor church service, followed by the distribution of 100 hot meals, 100 bottles of clean drinking water, 1,400 hygiene products, and 800 period products.

“Our mission is to help create a world in which all people have equal access to basic human needs, in addition to the opportunity to thrive within their communities,” explained Lisa Arbogast, who founded Promise Hill in 2018. “We’re grateful to our partner, Love Under the Bridge, for helping us make this event a reality.”

On November 16, while guests attend the outdoor church service, the Promise Hill team will prep hot meals with sides in to-go containers, distribute clean drinking water to promote good hydration, and plenty of oranges for vitamin C. “After the service is over, we will distribute the meals, water, hygiene kits, and period product kits to the attendees,” Arbogast added.

The organization is delivering tangible results on three continents. Since its founding, Promise Hill has delivered over 4,000 meals 80,000 period products in the USA and more than 20,000 meals in Kenya, among many other achievements in those two countries. Promise Hills has also funded clean water well projects in India, where water-borne diseases can be fatal.

Promise Hill will be holding its third annual fundraising in Dallas on Saturday, Dec 6, from 6-11 pm. The event will begin with a happy hour, followed by the program, a silent auction, a catered meal, and the infamous Promise Hill Trivia.

About Promise Hill Project

Promise Hill Project was founded by Lisa Arbogast in 2018 and received its 501 (c) (3) status in 2019. Since then, the organization has streamlined its giving to include three programs: Basic needs (food, water, period products), personal care (toiletries and other hygiene products), and tools for technology (printers, laptops, and sewing machines). Promise Hill works in struggling and impoverished communities. Its niche has become the distribution of period products to females in need and the installation of period product dispensers with product in girls' bathrooms in high schools. Promise Hill does not have paid staff but rather relies on an all-volunteer team.
